You will go to Spotify website and after login in your account, and will change the desire password.
In Spotify password reset option, you can reset your password, for this you will enter your email and then click on reset link which will sent to your email.
First and foremost, Go to Spotify official Website, https://www.spotify.com/ via browser as earlier discussed in App this will not be done. And use this method/ way when you know your password and want to change right now.
On the top right corner, click on login button and enter your Username/ Email and then password.

When you sign in through FB detail, then you will not be able to change the Spotify password unless you can change FB password not Spotify.
On Top right corner, click on your profile picture
Then click on Account, and will be open in new window
Here, click on change the password (Left side under the address)
After this, enter your present password, then New Password twice for confirmation
After creating new password, click on the green button to proceed ahead. And right now, your new password will be replaced with old one.
For confirmation, you must log out and then log in with the new password.

Simply, go to Spotify Official website via this link https://www.spotify.com/password-reset, after opening the official website, put your Email or Username and enter to proceed ahead.
After putting Email/ Username, click send option and an Email will be sent to your Spotify email address.
Now, you will be log in to your spotify email address and click on the link sending by the Spotify i.e. @spotify.com.Â
Here, you will reset your new password in the required field and click on green button to proceed ahead in the matter.
For confirmation while the password has been set or not, you should be log out, and then login with new reset password.
